B.o.B brought his “Elements Tour” to Val Air Ballroom on Sunday, June 25, making it his first- ever appearance in Des Moines.

B.o.B delivered an energetic show which relied less on his major hits and more on the newer, harder songs from his “Elements” material. His performance was well received by the large turnout of fans who remained raucous throughout the entire evening.

Leading up to B.o.B’s performance, the event showcased some of the talent signed to B.o.B’s No Genre record label. No Genre rappers Jaque Beatz and London Jae performed before B.o.B’s headlining set.

B.o.B released his latest album “Ether” on No Genre back in May. It is the fifth and final edition of his “Elements” series, consisting of mixtapes and albums. “Ether” was his first studio album to be released from his No Genre Label which he founded in 2014, following his departure from Atlantic Records.

B.o.B’s stop in Des Moines nears the midway point of “The Elements Tour.” It will run until the end of July and visit 34 cities throughout the United States.
